Why profiles actually get suspended
In one recent case, a suspended profile had four different addresses for the same company scattered publicly — on the website, in the trade registry, in directories. The cause of the suspension wasn't the address itself, but this inconsistency (NAP chaos), made worse by the fact that the registered address was a virtual office (explicitly banned by Google) and by a business name that already contained a keyword + city.
The right fix is not to film a verification clip at an empty address — that burns one of the few appeal chances you have left. It is to first clean up the public data, then correctly reconfigure the profile type. A suspended Google profile has, in most of our cases, a clearly identifiable cause — not an arbitrary penalty for no reason. A suspended Google Business profile can be contested through an appeal — Google officially states up to 5 business days for a decision, if the evidence form is filled in completely within the allotted window.
For businesses that travel to the client
If your business has no premises that clients actually visit (home services, on-site visits to the client), the profile needs to be set up as a Service Area Business — the address is used only internally for verification, then hidden from the public profile, while the service areas stay visible. For the full list of common causes, why Google Business profiles get suspended, and how to fix it breaks down every reason, with the appeal steps.
Same address/phone everywhere
Website, Google Business, directories, the trade register — all consistent.
The correct business type
Service Area Business for those who travel, a fixed location for those who receive clients.
Order matters
Cleanup → reconfiguration → only then verification. A check on dirty data gets rejected.

A practice Google actively penalizes
Since April 2026, Google has been actively enforcing the ban on review 'gating' — the practice of sending happy customers to Google and unhappy ones to an internal form. We build systems (including the NFC cards for HoReCa) that route every customer down the same path, with no filtering.

Risky claims in the profile and on the site
Claims like '100% success' or unprovable superlatives are a double risk: they breach misleading commercial practices legislation (ANPC, Romania's consumer protection authority) and can get Google Ads campaigns rejected.
Audit, then a fix plan
The first step is an audit of every public source where the business name appears, followed by a clear cleanup and reconfiguration plan, in the right order.

Every project has a different context, workflows and infrastructure, so the price is set after a short, paid discovery and does not change along the way.
Frequently asked questions
Why was my Google Business profile suspended?
The most common reason is inconsistent data (NAP chaos) — a different address or phone number across different public sources. Other causes: a virtual-office address, or a business name that stuffs in a keyword plus a city. Source: editorial
What is a Service Area Business, and is it right for me?
It's the right profile type for businesses that travel to the client, with no visitable premises. The address stays hidden from the public profile — only the service areas are visible. Source: editorial
Can I filter the reviews — send unhappy customers elsewhere?
No, and you risk active penalties from Google (as of April 2026 the policy is enforced strictly). Every customer has to be directed down the same path toward a review. Source: editorial
How long does fixing a suspended profile take?
It depends on how complex the inconsistencies are — cleaning up public data can take a few days to a few weeks, depending on how many sources need correcting. Source: editorial
How long does it take Google to process the verification after the fix?
It varies, from a few days to a few weeks — it doesn't depend on us, but on Google's internal process. Source: editorial
Can you prevent a future suspension?
We significantly reduce the risk through NAP consistency and correct configuration, but we can't guarantee Google's policy 100%, because we don't control it. Source: editorial
