# What a digital project costs, with real examples

> How much a digital project costs: real price benchmarks for each type of service — software, online store, marketing. Fixed price after discovery.

What a digital project costs depends on scope — we don't give a single price for "a website" or "a campaign." But we can show you **real benchmarks from projects we've built**, so you know what range to expect before discovery.

## A fixed price, after a short discovery call. Not an hourly rate.

We don't give a price over the phone, in the first conversation. We run a short, paid discovery, where we map the processes, the data and what needs to be delivered, then send a quote with a fixed price on the clarified scope, usually in 2–3 options. The price in the quote doesn't double along the way: if the scope changes, we sign an addendum beforehand, not a surprise invoice afterward.

We don't publish figures from client projects. Not because they'd be large or small, but because a price without context is misleading: the same "online store" can mean a 40-product builder or a replatforming with thousands of SKUs and integrations with couriers, e-Factura and marketplaces. Fixed price after discovery means you don't get a number over the phone — we run a short discovery first, then a quote with a fixed price on the clarified scope.

## What moves the price up or down, for each category.

For software and AI, what matters is the number of processes and integrations, the volume of real data to test, and whether dedicated infrastructure is needed. For web and ecommerce: catalog size, migration from another platform, and automations (e-Factura, shipping labels, marketplaces). For marketing: number of locations, channels, and media budget, which stays separate from our fee. For HoReCa: number of dishes scanned and card print run. What a digital project costs depends, almost always, on three factors — scope, required integrations and delivery timeline — not the general type of service chosen. ## Declared explicitly in the contract, not discovered later.

Recurring third-party costs usually stay the client’s responsibility and are disclosed before signing: hosting, software licenses and subscriptions, media budget for campaigns, marketplace or invoicing subscriptions. We put them in the proposal, with estimates, so they do not show up as a surprise after delivery. For a detailed example on a single service, [the price of SEO services: what it really costs](https://thenichesociety.ro/en/blog-cat-costa-seo-firma-mica) shows why there is no universal rate there either.

## Discovery, quote, contract with clear scope.

Discovery maps out exactly what you need and what can be reused from what you already have. The quote that follows has a fixed price on the defined scope, with what's included and what isn't spelled out explicitly. The contract repeats the scope and the payment schedule, usually in installments tied to deliverables, not to the calendar.

- 01A free 30-minute conversation: we see whether it makes sense to continue.
- 02Short, paid discovery: processes, data, deliverables, risks.
- 03A fixed-price quote, in 2–3 options, with what's included and what isn't.
- 04A contract with scope, timeline and installments tied to deliverables.

## A fixed price, after a short discovery call.

- fixed price for the scope
- full code handover
- no hidden costs
- 3 clear packages (start/standard/premium)
- SEO migration included with replatforming
- order-to-delivery automation
- no 12-month commitment
- monthly reporting
- test before scaling
Every project has a different context, workflows and infrastructure, so the price is set after a short, paid discovery and does not change along the way.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why don't you display a fixed price per service?

Because scope genuinely varies from one project to another — a fixed list price would be either too low (and we'd end up adding hidden fees later) or too high for simple projects. We prefer an honest 'on request'. Source: editorial

### What did your cheapest project cost?

NFC cards for Google reviews start at a few hundred lei each — small projects, short sales cycle.

### What did the largest project shown here cost?

The price is set after a short, paid discovery call. We don't publish figures from client projects.

### Do you give a free quote before signing anything?

Yes — discovery is free and no-obligation; the fixed-price offer comes after, based on what we've learned. Source: editorial

### What happens if the scope changes along the way?

We discuss every scope change explicitly before executing it — we don't add unannounced costs during the project. Source: editorial

### Do the example prices apply to my project too?

They're indicative benchmarks from real past projects, not list prices — every project gets its own quote after discovery. Source: editorial
